i say put a a 4BT in the back and have a AG water pump on her and run 3" lines to the intercooler! but im tinking the most you would want to do is liek what 3/4" that would flow quite a bit of water. you going to have a large resivoir to let the stuff cool a bit before it gets pumped again? it would be sweet to have a tank 3" thick and the height of the bed and width of it for a tank to mount against the front of the bed then have another for Water/ Meth mix. that would a a nice lil set up.

We've got a 3406 Cat laying around our shop, along with some 12 inch pumps.

I actually don't have any plans for a reservoir as of right now, but that's another thing I'm waiting on some experience to decide. I know I "need" one, but depending on how well that tranny cooler sucks heat, I hope to avoid having to screw with one too big.

I got the 180* 3 inch outlets. I think it's around 12x12 or so.

It seems to be a pretty decent piece, but at $150, I don't really expect it to last forever. I figure if this shows a hint of working, I'll run it till something breaks, then start looking around for something rated for around 80-100 psi.

hey-Hey!!!,
I looked at that one and the $300 version that is 'suggested' for more than double the flow. I went and asked them about pressure drop v. flow and they gave me a big song and dance as to why the operating conditions matter( 'cause air becomes more dense as it cools so volume out won't equal volume in ), and they end by telling me you'd have to do it at ambient temp for a true apples-apples comparison. So I write back and they say all the specs they're interested in publishing are on the site so bugger off well, they put it *SLIGHTLY* more politely than that ). Prices are nice, and I saw some pix of another one like it on a 450 hp VE Gen 1...so while feeling they're a bunch of snake rendering salesmen I may yet go and deal with them.
cheers,
Douglas

These guys should be able to hook ya up with the right connects for what you want. Have a gander at what they offer.

Probably the last pic of this wreck in it's unfinished state, as a certain g/f of mine was using my wireless Internet to pirate movies, and they decided I didn't need it anymore. Stupid women.

This is the final routing of the intake piping. I figure I'll throw a resivior in the corner of the bed, somewhere out of the way.

Chemmins: we've actually got quite a lot of those connectors where I work, but I'm afraid that they work more on pressure and won't flow enough at the pressure I'll be running. I appreciate the link though.

Edit: The actual mount isn't final either, so no comments about the backwards angle iron or crappy finish. :P

It's a completely personal choice, but I think that anything that adds power that you have to refill...seems kind of like fake power to me. I'm obviously not out to break any records, looks or power-wise  , so I see no reason to do something I'm not a fan of to get where I'm going.

Since I'm here, :update: been driving it the last couple of days, and I have to say, a standard transmission will make anything fun again. :D. The trans still makes the rattling noise if I go into 5th below 50 mph, so I guess with the 3.08s that's just too slow for 5th. The I/C doesn't have water going through it yet, but unless I've started some sort of drug the EGTs seem to be down by about 50* or so. Guess it's the aluminum sucking the heat out of the air. I would get this thing routed and functioning, but I can't stop driving the truck around when I'm not working.

One of these days I guess.

I like my grill =)

Like I said, I don't want to do any cutting on mine, and I'm definately not putting one of those big plastic chrome boogers on the nose of it. If this works, I'll be extremely happy with it, but if not I'll just try again.

Bringing this back up, AGAIN.

I relocated my IC, since I couldn't get the air purged out of it the way it was mounted, and figured I'd throw the pics up.

I sure seem to do a lot of work on this thing for it to not have worked once yet.

I'm also planning on a set of twins and that will be a much better place to have it for the sake of routing the intake tubing.

I'm sorry, AEM, I didn't even know there was another post on this thread. My turbo is a 62/65/12 from Dieselautopower.com With stock non/ic injectoras and a maxed pump it was hitting a max of 45psi in 4th gear, but with no intercooling it was pretty much wasted air.

Does anyone know how to if I can make these images thumbnails when I post them? They are just uncalled for how big they are, but I can't remember what to type in the IMG code to do it, or if you can even do it there. I hate doing it in PhotoBucket, they always get screwed up. :?

Thanks, Alex.

The external 'gate isn't actually hooked up yet, but it definitely looks good sitting in there. I don't feel like trying to fab up a dump pipe while the manifold is still on the truck, so I'll pull it all off as an assembly when I run my air to water through the tranny cooler and fab it up then.

I'm also not sure what shroud you're talking about, but if it's the radiator fan shroud I can't take the credit for it. The credit would go to Chrysler corporation and the lights in my garage reflecting off of it making it look like steel. :)

I got my water reservoir cut up tonight and I'll let my cousin weld it up for me tomorrow. (I'm a terrible welder) My couplers should be in Thursday, so hopefully I'll have some performance reports.
