A lot has happened since I last posted. I pulled the truck 6 times finishing 2nd to last at every pull, which was my goal for the first year. Post season brought POD's and a 60mm compressor(still stock 21cm exhaust), which netted me 379/848 on the dyno. That was the "well enough" I couldnt leave alone. Next came studs, valve springs, 14mm h/r, A1000, and 6x.016 Buddhas. I guess thats it. That netted me a siezed VE. A new VE from a very low hp application(2mm camplate and a less that optimal fulcrum lever) with another 14mm added gave me a disapointing 293/732 with no power above 2000 rpm's. I found a used 2.8 camplate, put it in, maxed the fuel and now have 50psi boost, a strong pull, and very hot egt's. Gonna check the dynamic timing, and dyno it again 7 May, hoping for a solid 400hp.
'03 2500: utility body stock; '92 350 flatbed: maxed fuel, 354 spring, 6x.016's, 14mm H/R, 2.8plate, studs, springs, A1000 5/8 line, Super40 = 454hp 1080tq all fuel. Have added S3 66/74/.91, O-rings, home port job, Steedspeed t-4 manifold. Hp=437/857
13mm P, 5x.025, he551+ht80 843hp 1thousand something trq. Broken 5th gear.
