9/16 Stud dilemma

So after coming to the realization that you can not possible buy a 9/16 press in stud for the front of a w350 I got to thinking.

Why not just buy a 2nd gen hub adapter that already has 9/16 studs in it.

This should work right????

I have 9/16" studs on my 92, bought them from the local parts store. Dorman makes them, I will see what I can find for a part number for you ;)

the 3/4 ton truck can, the duallys have a very large .72 hole for the shank. Only 1/2 and 5/8 available.

Is the .72 the area where the knurled part is, or the stepped up section right at the head of the stud?

I don't have my truck to look at and now I'm wondering exactly how the w350 front hub/adapter are integrated.

going with the k30 hubs, will mean 2 less rims I have to machine the center of.
