That's our ton truck, it's what we use to deliver loads under five tons. Honestly, we don't bother with customer loads that small, unless they're friends/family, so it's mostly just used for personal stuff.

It replaced an old non-turbo 7.3 truck, so as far as the bosses are concerned the 6.4 is the baddest engine ever. Even I have to admit that it is awesome. It'll cruise at 70 grossing 20k no sweat, and ride like a Caddy.

So, I think I finally found a transmission to swap in my truck. It's an auto ( :( ), but I'm thinking with a double overdrive it should make up for the loss of fun with a gain in mileage. Minor trimming to the tunnel will be required. 8)

Seriously though, for anyone wondering why my truck never does any work, here's the little drama queen with a measly 2100lbs in the bed:

The rear suspension is basically begging for mercy. It's a bit behind the axle, but still, have some pride, Dodge. Also in this pic is proof of why I never wash my truck. 2 days later, and there's mud all up the side again. :x

The only thing I hate worse than my truck being broken, is my truck being assembled.

It's pulled apart so I can measure my compressor wheel for a new housing. I'm not even going to bother putting it back together until I either have a new housing in my hands or I'm told nobody can get one.

Also, I like my turbos like I like my girls. Dirty. 8)

Well if I knew you better, or I was feeling like Pete, I'd say you'd be driving a naturally aspirated Cummins if that was true.

What makes them get so dirty? Mine's clean as a whistle

ZING!!!

On the cleanliness, my turbo and IC keep a light coat of oil on their insides. That's what most of that is, dried oil. I figure my filter got a little too dirty and sucked some through as well.
