Interior Restore (So far...)

So, I bought my truck probably about two months ago now, and have been working on it every chance I have on redoing the whole inside. Here's some before and during pictures. I'm hoping to post the completed finished product photos by the end of the week. If I can do it, anyone can, take a lot of time, patience and well yes, money...but with some creativity not nearly as costly as it appears. This truck is being built on a budget lol

So Far

Laying a dark brown carpeting (Turned out surprisingly good for it not being a pre mold) The key is a heat gun


Headliner Material and New Trim Color


I wanted a touch of pink, but I figured this could be changed easily if I ever sold the truck


Even carpeted the back wall again. Did some protective painting to go under the trim





Painting up the bottom of the seats to match




End result of the back half. Not planning on putting the back seats in

looks great!!!! dont let the dash scare you it wasnt that bad, could use an extra set of hands to put it back in but i had mine out in under 30min by myself
the bolts under the windshield rubber are the worst but i just cut out the rubber with a razor and removed the screws for now cause when i paint it i m gonna do the winshield rubber anyways along with all the rest of the weatherstriping, it makes a WORLD of difference when its all done though so i say go for it!!!!

I actually left my dash in lol... now that made it a lot harder than needed but oh well. Too late now. Bought marine carpeting from lowes so it resists water and stuff, cleans easliy. It didn't mold worth a sthi but I bought a heat gun and it worked perfectly. The back wall and side panels behid the back seats were harder for me than the floor was.
My current issue, and its a dumb one I'm sure is...I put the gauge panel back on today...and my cd player is actually a dvd and when the screen flips up it hits my heating/air controls lol. Gotta change this someehow. Too cheap to buy another player lol

i like them i guess, they are just an autometer single and double along with a universal "mounting cup" . a dual autometer by itself would be cool but as soon as i hone -in my fiberglass skills im gonna create something a little different.....

i like it!!! looks good and seems cheap and easy enough for a weekend project, not that your interior job look "cheap" by any means, just talking price-wise....i may have to do a little searching around my local home depot and lowes and see what i can dig up!!!

Yeah changing out the few things I did took a lot of years off its appearance that's for sure. Now to the good stuff! Under the hood lol

Took off the cheap tint


Painting up the trim


Painting that trim made a big difference


Bedliner, Bullhorns and new tint


Interior all back in now (kinda dark pic)


Dash all put together again


Painted up tailgate, almost ready for its decal

Still waiting on the turbo to arrive and some new tail lights for her, but it's come a long ways in three months. Been a lot of work but def worth it
