Boss' step-son traded a pit bike for a '86 F250 yesterday. Has a 6.9L, EAOD(?) auto in it (NOT a C6) and 4wd. Surprised how quiet the thing is with a stack and straight piped. Though, what had been done, is the bottom of the stack was capped and the exhaust comes into it from the side. Actually sounds pretty decent. Has some sort of shift kit in the trans and shifts plenty hard. Almost too much. IP has been tweaked a bit. A LOT stronger than the one I had. Not a total pooch at all (at least empty ).
But, he NEEDS a cab for it. Rockers, cab corners and lower A pillar is pretty much gone. Have to lift up on the door to close it. Hinges are good, but the A pillar moves! Holes in the floor too. Needs a steering column too. It is junk. VERY loose!!
