Used a couple donor trucks and it is now a CTD/A618/205 truck. 3.54 Dana's. Kelderman front air bags. Did the same thing with my core support. Retained all the original body panels too like you did. I wish I had taken more pics along the way. Mine has been on the road since 2010 and runs like a top. I wish I had done a 5 spd though.

Good looking truck. Love to see them with a trailer hauling stuff!!!
Absolutley no regrets on my end going with the manual tranny. I am sure that I will need to do the NV swap at some point but for now I like the Getrag. Been a solid tranny so far and 5th gear has not fallen off yet
Thanks man. Had the buggy for about 7 or eight years now, it keeps changing with the times, fun build but its time for some coilovers and some more power
Been tying up all the loose ends lately, built a swing away spare tire carrier a few weekends back and loaded up a huh? 37 on it. I added a little more tube to the rear of the bed to support the top of the tire after I shot these photos too, but you get the idea.
I had lots of ideas and dont know if I am sold on the look but it is very functional for me, I can still use the floor of the bed to put stuff flat on it, I can open and close the tailgate and get up into the bed and it will be great for our trip to Alaska this summer being able to get it out of the way to get stuff from the bed.
Also been dealing with the little stuff, installed the correct white backup lights and wired in. Switch in tranny is bad though so I need to get that replaced sometime.
Replaced the master cylinder Monday night and bled the brakes. The rears still lock up when you first take off but not going to worry about that much before I head to Moab.
Replaced all the badly cracked factory couplers on the pressure piping with a kit from source last week.
Still battling with some hesitation on the top end, thinking it might be a combination of bad fuel or water in the fuel and a lift pump issue. So I picked up a low pressure piston lift pump from Cummins last week and plan on getting that on tonight.
One question for you first gen guys....When do I need to think about an upgrade to the injection pump? Just curious if I am anywhere near there with my setup.
75 or 100hp injectors (they were in it when I bought it and I cannot remember which ones they are)
Denny T stage two pin
Intake
HE341 running 40lbs + boost
Low pressure piston lift pump
I am getting ready to head to Moab towing the buggy for the first real long haul and want to make sure everything is safe for the long haul. Anything I should be doing to make this reliable other than what I have going on?
Thanks in advance for the advise.
