It's almost a bolt on affair. You'll have to make the elongated hole for the transfer case shifter, and depending on what transmission is in the 91, you may have to move the transmission shifter hole around too. Now, from what I have heard, pre-85's used mechanical clutch linkages, so you may have to make some firewall modifications, so you can mount the clutch hydraulics for the 91. Besides a few small things, it's bolt on and go
