Just in case any of you drive my specific truck here's my blueprints of the blower pulley. This will get you just clear of the accessory belt with my specific fan pulley and mount. I'll get their part numbers later. Also, the smallest hole sits right on the fan threads, I figure you could fit your stock fan back on there if you enlarged it enough to clear the hex. Dunno if the blades would clear the belt though. =\

Also, I'm still not sure if this thing will clear the balancer with a belt on it, 7.5" may be too tall.


Here's the cutter you'll need to make serpentine grooves, the point is actually radiused a bit but you'll just have to experiment that for yourself.

I also put a body lift on anything I personally own (some people don't like the looks, which I can understand), but I can change the starter right through the wheel well, same goes for oil filter, vacuum pump, etc......Oh, and I can fit 9" exhaust through the case if I ever felt the need to.

Yup. Mine has a 3" body lift, and that's exactly how I work on my engine...through the fenders!

Practice piece, I'm not as dumb as you think I are.

I'll see about having them heat-treat it as well wherever I get it done so to the belts don't wear it down over time.

I'm not as think as you dumb I am? That makes sense, why ruin your pulley piece. As for heat treating, are the regular pulleys heat treated? I think they are soft, IIRC, I have dinged them before working around them. Maybe I'm wrong.......

I noticed a lot of our V-belt stuff at work gets worn out and won't hold belts, I don't think its' nearly as much of a concern with serpentine stuff but I also don't see the harm in it.
