Could cut some diamonds in between the bolt holes

The bolt hole area is only 1/8" thick, there isn't much mass there. Getting some more material cleared out in the thicker steel, along with being farther towards the outside of the pulley. I see this thing causing some belt squeaks when the engine shuts off and it wants to keep spinning.

Maybe not once a blower is dragging it down it won't be such a problem, but if ow it on there now it'll probe a problem.

So did you cut the grooves or what?

Nah, I had the machine shop do it. He made a cutter out of carbide, I was using HSS.
I probably could have done them if I had access to legit carbide but I don't.

Yeah, I think I'll just mount it up and get to getting this thing together. Bad thing is I'll be messing around with the steering and suspension next week. I never thought I'd consider an airbag suspension and crossover steering a bad thing to have to do to my truck.

Honestly I've been thinking of looking for an OD auto donor truck so the old lady can drive it. I intend to take it on vacation and sthi and don't want to be the only one that can drive. God forbid a girl actually try more than 3 times to drive a standard.

I think it's pretty universal, only one of them have had the slightest idea of how to drive a standard, it's not like I'm going to make the brakes work or anything crazy like that.

I drilled and tapped the fan hub for 5/16-18 bolts.

Small tip......if you heat those splices they tend to draw up around the wires they connect......just sayin
