Got my accessory drive stuff back, made my own idler pulley mount so now I've got maximum wrap on my fan pulley. Tomorrow night I hope to have my blower belt routing done, then there will be damn few things actually keeping this thing from running.

Image

I will be trimming the spacer some to center the belt better and facing the bolt to get it out of my blower belt. It was all over my blower belt when i was checking out my tensioner.

Ha!! They'll never get shrunk, I keep telling myself I'm going to do a single fan setup.

Thanks, man, progress is actually moving along really well on this thing. If I had a legit weekend to sit down and work on it it would already be done, but of course I start getting into the real meat of it on a Sunday night. I'm also running loader at work now so I've got to get up an hour earlier every morning and I'm away from the shop all day. no sneaking out and taking measurements or getting stuff ready...

I'm waiting on some 4" silicone couplers and if they roll in before Friday this puppy will be rolling his weekend. 8)

Ha! Thanks, BC, I was feeling so guilty lately about my thread taking up RC's email that I decided to make it worth it. I actually start getting somethings done and everybody ignores it.

I'd also like to note that that is a stock non-IC'd AC belt that Cmann sent me with the AC stuff. goodnews in that it's not some random-ass size so it should be pretty easy to locate. I'm toying around with making the blower drive belt the exact same one, that way I can just keep one spare and I can swap it to the accessory in an emergency.

Pfffffft, don't make me show them the text, Hiney. :P
Actually, Hiney will get the first test ride, besides whoever is sitting there with me when I first get it fired up. I'll just have to put the hood and fender back on before I drive all the way out to his house.

Hmmm, 1/2 ton spring packs, no traction bars, lunchbox locker, potentially 400lb/ft off idle, the world's weakest 3/4 ton rear ends, a worn out Getrag, and $250 a pop tires.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold your breath for any burnouts.

What rpm are you going to be pushing it again? All the BS in between the good info makes it hard to remember.
