i too would check the rear. if you are for sure the noise is coming from the front, replaced the wheel bearings. i had a 389 pete that the driver said he had a noise from the front end when turning left. jacked it up and checked, wheel bearings felt tight. it had the oil caps on the hubs that you could not see the oil level. wheel seals wasnt leaking either. i drove it down the road, and it sure had a noise. pulled the hubs off and the right wheel bearings where wasted.
