Sorry to not link then for you, Fatty, I'm on the phone and working on this thing still. If you can't find them I'll grab them when I finish up.

Ellis, you mean an airbag setup? IMO if you're not looking to have a variable ride height them a coil spring will perform jut as well. They work so well because they get rid of the internal friction that is caused by the design of leaf springs. Coils don't have that friction either.

Levi, I can see the smoke from that burning money all the way from my house. :P

Looks good, but isn't a law of physics that a 4wd 1st gen has to ride bad?

I dunno, it's probably another law of physics that a blown and turbo'd 1stgen should be wicked fast and I've broken that one, why not two?

Well.........a supercharged/turbo'd cummins technically will lose power. But gain in power curve being flatter, and in the long run just run more consistent.

It shouldn't lose any plumbed like this, the turbo unloads the blower so it's simply freewheeling. I'm still suspecting fueling problems. :?

It's still driving the blower, though, right? Not that the mighty Cummins should notice it.

But when in doubt... add more fuel.

Levi check out the angles on a second gen Dodge front control arms if you have access to one.

No I was talking about the bars. I'm considering them instead of homemade caltrac bars.

This is on the front of the truck, Ellis, I'm not really building them to prevent wheelhop. Once they're made and welded I'll yank the leafs off and make some airbag mounts. The leaves are just on there so I can make sure the axle stays located.

In the rear, I'm honestly thinking of going with a set of homemade Caltracs or a pair of traction bars. I thought about doing the single torque arm thing, but this locker doesn't always know what wheel it wants to power so I want it to be connected to both sides of the truck.

Looks like I'll just barely be able to keep my turning radius(that's the lower mount just inside the tire), but not my hangers. The Ford pieces hang the bushing waaaaay to far out, so I'll be returning them and making my own.

Image

Then the usual BS wiring problems. Rubbed a hole in the harness where it drops down the inner fender and goes over the framerail to the rear harness. Lost the passenger brake light/blinker and ran up and down the harness 3 times before it showed it's ugly face.

Image

Then I covered it's ugly face up. 8)
Image

Then I found yet another Scotchlock surprise from the old man. :yuck:
Image

Got it all patched up so far, threw a stiffer spring on the bypass, and hit the road. It boiled the tires off when the turbo spooled in 2nd, then ran it out through 3rd and 4th. It actually pulled 2 degrees of vacuum at 40psi (and 1500+*), but that's with that dirty-ass cone filter I finally put back on. I was running the bypass filter less before, it was 45 psi and I never saw it go over 1300* on a pull.

I'll put the smaller spring back on and try again before I buy a $60 filter.

Man that's a lot of buggered wires. I like the covering. I had the ground on my drivers door do that. Lost all functionality of the door electronics. Looking at it After fixing it all the wires have some exposed wire, but I said screw it and wrapped the whole thing in electrical tape.

I've thought about redoing the wiring, but I'm not sure how to do it and not make it cobbled. Especially around the bulkhead connectors and stuff.

I swapped to Tyler's DDP4's tonight, the tips are slightly shorter and his washers are thicker, but I'll see what happens in terms of boost and EGTs.

Are these the "old ddp4s"? Or the "new ddp4s" (which are their comp. injector?
