It's easier to do when you're not starting with a bare set of framerails and a never ending search for w350 leafs.

I think I have all the parts for the ol girl now. The parts truck I bought has the springs. Even found a really good set of used fenders. Just need the time and spare set of hands to out it together. It even turns over by itself now!!!

As high up as you are at Cat now I figure you could just write off the month and pull a couple of mechanics to do it for you.

You know you'll have to stop spending all your time on tractors to get that thing done, it was the same problem I had when I W's messing with my turbo Rangers. Depending on how torn down mine is at the time, I oughta be able to come help out. Just have lots-o-beer. 8)

Also, make it summer so I can pass out in the yard and not catch pneumonia.

Lol beer I can handle. I have a nice heater in the garage! I can't afford to pay myself to work on it let alone pay cat techs to do it haha.

Just let me know, if in not trying to keep my own junk on the road I'm more than willing to get someone else's junk on there.

Just not in the winter. Weight reduction, you know.

That new one looks quite a bit bigger than the old one. Will it fit?

Got my newest battery (long story) hooked up last night. Squirted some ether and it and least fired and blew smoke! Made me happy happy happy!

It was a much thicker core but it still fit height and width-wise. I had to cut the foam off the bottom so the hoses would fit back in the holes of the HVAC, but everything was fine otherwise.

I'd say its a 5-6, takes a fair bit of twisting and pulling to get the heater box out. Like taco said, the new aftermarket cores are a tight fit. Just did mine this fall...

Yup, not too bad at all. The worst part is the damn heat shield on the engine side. My blower is hanging in the way of everything, so I didn't bother to put it back on. I've got the header and turbo blankets, so my underhood is pretty cool.

In other news, I ran our unofficial 1/4 mile track and did a 15.2 at 84 mph. 2wd, so I spun through 2nd gear and only managed 30psi. I'm gonna yank the bypass filter and try it again later.

Forgot my times here, according to both our stopwatch and the 1/4 mile app my best 1/4 so far is a 15.2 at 84mph. Lots-o-wheelspin since I can't launch in 4wd (DS is for emergency use only), but with my 6k weight it calculates right at 300 hp. Best thing is I can lug as much as I want at launch because the turbo is always ready to spool. Before, I could fall under the 62mm with a soft enough launch. Not no mo'. 8)

300 hp doesn't sound great, but it sure feels great.
