Not a lot gets done when the boss is here.....lol its pretty laid back in our shop. There's only two of us.

Caleb, take a hoodie or flannel and ball it up, then stick it between your lower back and the seat. A little lumbar makes a long trip a lot more comfortable.

Also, anyone been seeing what happening over in the Ukraine? People revolting and rioting against their corrupt gov, they took over their capital city and now Putin is next door doing "pre planned" military drills. I wish them the best, it's cool to basically see our history repeating itself. Putin is a hardass though...

I think I seen alittle bit about it on the news in burger king when I was at lunch a week ago lol....but I didn't pay much attention to it. Me and news is about like oil and water....I just don't watch it. I have a feeling in a few years it could happen over here again......craps getting pretty crazy around the world it seems.

Yeah, I never really watch the news either, especially local, it all just seems so depressing anymore. Like they're in a competition to see who can report the most deaths/car wrecks/new drug trends anymore. I'd just as soon not watch anything at all. Which I do.

Still, you'd think there would be mention of a freakin' revolution in a couple more places than your average news story.

The RC doesn't really need a build thread, all it's getting is a cummins swap. Maybe if I do anything else to it it'll get some publicity.

I think Putin's a decent enough guy. He takes no BS.

The Olympics gave him the excuse to kill anyone in eastern Europe or western Russia that he didn't like, so I'm sure some foreign leaders were iced. I'm sure lots of former Soviet people are ticked, but they have nothing. Ukraine has farmland, but mechanically and technologically they are decades behind us. None of them have a strong enough economy or established enough government to do anything about. You won't find the Soviet Union on the map anymore, but don't fool yourself into thinking Moscow doesn't run the show over there. Again what does Ukraine have? Nothing. Revolution? Not likely.

IMO, none of that is our business. As I see it, Russia is just like us except they are hard line where our elected officials are wishy washy.

I bet you'll do more to it once its up and running....lol you'll end up putting the blower on it so you can have a blown turbo'd RC then its down hill from there..

There is some guys on an ADVrider forum from there that have been talking about it, they are excited things
mite change for the better for them. I don't know much about it though.

I hope all goes well for the poor and down trodden over there.

It does suck for the Ukrainians, they've been getting whAt? by everyone for years. They don't have anything because they weren't allowed to have anything. I'd like to see them get something beneficial out of this too, prove to people that you don't have to lay down and take whatever's thrown to you by your superiors.

I can kinda see Putin rolling in the tanks once the attention's off him, but a lot of places that aren't America are seemingly interested in seeing what happens if the little guys win. I saw mention of Ukraine's borders having to be respected by Russia as part of the Cold War treaty, meaning Putin waltzing in there could be taken as a declaration of war by Ukrainia. Then the UN gets involved, blah blah blah, who knows what would happen.

Glad I'm not watching it off my front porch, that's for sure.
