Thanks Pete, I'll have to look at the one in the dually, see if its got any issues starting. Good to know, since I gotta buy 2 group 31's for the M37 project

My 4th gen is frustrating me. Yesterday and the day before it went into something like a limp mode and I had to reflash. So I loaded my own stuff and it consistently throws all 6 injector circuit open codes when I run on performance, and I really like running on performance

I did some research on where batteries are made and found that NAPA batteries are the same as Dekas and if I recall correctly so are the Super Starts from O'Reillys

Oreilly batteries are made by east penn, who also makes deka iirc. Unless the part # has a J on the end, which designates Johnson Controls and I would avoid them.

We have a fairly low warranty return rate imo on our super starts. Nothing like all the warranty returns we had at advance. We get tons of walmart, rural king, and advance batteries in as cores. Alot of times they are just barely out of the warranty coverage, and sometimes they are still covered. Generally the napa and interstate batts we get are years past the warranty.

Anybody know if 13mm p pump barrel and plungers are straight Bosch made? I kind of want to try my hand at building the 175 p pump I have

Speaking of Batteries and such Im still having issues with my Ford. Its not charging at the batteries. I changed alternators with Dads 97 and its still not charging. I can only get 12.2V's at the batteries while its running but I get 14.8V's from the same alternator on Dads. Does anyone have any ideas?

Put a new truck under the driver?

Need input from you guys, what color should I paint my IC tubes and the pipe between the turbos? Green the color of the truck or black? The drivers side tube is black but has a rust spot I need to deal with, and the other 2 pipes are bare metal right now.
Thanks guys!

Why paint anything under the hood? I'm going to paint my welds on my cold pipe and IC tube and that's it.

Hide and watch. I'm serious.

I vote PCM issues Andy. I don't remember why, but I think the PCM controls charging. Check out Power Stroke Army.

Pete, you can't go wrong with gloss black and Cummins biege. My intercooler piping is black, and cold pipe is biege.

What about painting it so it looks like fire?

From what I've read the alternator has a internal regulator. Something about the battery light must come on with the key on though for it to charge.
