Thank you gentlemen!

I blew through that test like a fat kid goes through cupcakes. I was well prepared, and it showed. I even got the short math test that hey use for the maintenance testing, and guess what? No freakin algebra! There were other guys there for the same position, but I am first in line for the job as they don't have as much time in the union that I do. Now it's the waiting game, I will find out on Tuesday if I actually passed the thing...

Welcome back Pete!

Has anyone bumper towed with an aluminum hitch? I won one last night and I wondered if they were amazingly better than steel ones. I'm thinking the yanking of a hay wagon will wallow out the hole for the pin, but a ball should be ok.

Thanks Caleb! It's good to be home. You know, the best looking women I saw in Atlanta were in the airport? I wouldn't trust that aluminum hitch to pull big weight like you do, maybe if it's forged, but I'd keep an eye on it.

Parker and bill-d-c, that radio will work, I have the same thing in all 3 of my vehicles. You may have to cut off 1 mounting tab because it's around the corner from where it needs to be, but I'm not 100% sure of that because I can't remember what vehicle I had to do that in. It is plug and play though. And FYI, I never pay more than $30 for them in the junkyard. ;)

And to up the KDP count, before I left a friend decided to check his, and it was flush with the front of the case. Then while I was down south, another friend called, he was checking his and it was hanging out the front of the hole and all the bolts were loose, on a 2nd gen. He said it wouldn't drive in very far, I bet his case moved and told him so. He was going to try to tap it up some and get the pin back and peen the case over. I have to go see him tomorrow to set his timing.

Went to gun show yesterday. Brother bought a ruger .338, and I bought some more knives, and a laser sight just for fun. Put it on my paintball gun. Now I just need people to go paint balling with and I can use it. It works good for playing with the cat

Any one with 4" DE exhaust have a spare tire where it belongs? I wedged mine in there today after 3 years of chancing it or having it take up bed space, but I don't like how it fits.

Yep... Mine is in there. It's about 1" away from the pipe.

I did not install the kit to the directions tho.

Directions? WTH are those?

(Thanks Levi! )

I didn't follow the directions either, but I must have erred on the wrong side. Some time soon I'll take the whole system apart and tweak it to my specs. The down pipe dumps too low for me and I'm going to go with fewer clamps and more welds so it doesn't tend to wander up at the end.

Is your arch over the axle centered over the axle? I think that'd help me. Mine's set farther back so the end dumps exactly half way between the end of the wheel well and the bumper.

With that Kelderman on my pile, there is no room underneath for a spare tire, even took a little tweaking to get the 4" exhaust routed around it so it wouldn't hit as the suspension cycles...

Yeah Caleb I made sure to center that arch over the axle but I also shifted that thing toward the shock as well

Anyone have suggestions for fixing my wipers? I've put new bushings in twice (from the Help! section of AutoZone) and today they've popped out again and I have no wipers. I'm getting pretty sick of not being able to drive my truck in the rain.
