That type of repair requires about half a roll of black tape to work properly.

Caleb. As I was told once warranty work doesn't pay. Hence do it right the first time.

I worked a bit on a g855 cummins today (natural gas genset) boy was that terrible. We spent 4 hours on it and got absolutely nothing done. Turned out the new cam they sent is for the diesel, and is quite a bit different from the ng one. Then because it's easier to put the cam in without the crank, and they didn't know what to do with the cam the crank ended up not going in. Now that thing will probably sit for a few weeks with nothing getting done to it

Caleb, I don't need an HX35. I have one of those. What I need is the 12cm exhaust housing with the HX40 outlet on it.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Spent all last weekend doing brakes. Came out of work tonight and saw a puddle at my left rear tire. I hate drums. Fml.

I would, but I'm selling the 64 and gotta have the 35 housing to put back on the 1stgen.

Did arp change the metal they use for the 425 studs? One of my studs broke last week, so I ordered a replacement. Looks like a different metal, and has a tit at the end.

Mine does it too, some days I start it and it's running like crap, everything is super rattly, it shifts like sthi, it just sucks to be in.

Others it's super quiet(comparably), smooth, the transmission acts like it wasn't built in the 1800's, just enjoyable to be in. I love these days.

Do what I did..... rebuild EVERY single piece on the entire truck. Then put a bunch of stupid sh!t on it, so you have a 1.5" driveline. Then it'll ALWAYS rattle and drive like crap anyways.

I finally hitched a noteworthy load behind my Dodge since I slid in the new transmission. I pulled our NH 499 center pivot mower home from half way across the county. I didn't get above 40, but it accelerates fantastically with a load behind it.
