I have the factory bypass forced closed with a metal tab, I found it to be completely worthless with my setup. The bypass I made has been functioning correctly according to my gauges. If it was stuck open I'd never have interstage boost and if it was stuck closed I wouldn't be able to break 15-20 psi manifold. I've done a few runs with it and never had a problem getting to 35-40psi manifold, with little to no interstage vacuum. Vacuum goes over -10psi on even a gentle roll on with it stuck closed, with a total smoke show to boot.

Warning: brief venting session.

My dad is a chronic borrower. I am a "two is one and one is none" person. Cue the tension. Today we had the KW pulling our gooseneck and a borrowed truck pulling a borrowed gooseneck to deliver some hay. I know nothing about the borrowed truck and since it's a GM with every light on in the dash, I figure the cluster is toast. Wrong, that gas gauge was accurate and dad ran it out. Gosh dang, that eats at me. I appreciate the concern for my old Dodge, but that strange kind of chit does not happen with it. We nailed a perfectly avoidable situation due to unfamiliarity.

End rant.

Andy and Ellis, the stiction preventer stuff is called Archoil 9100. Our resident ford guy said it costs less than Rev x. You need to use twice as much per oil change, but it works slightly better and and ends up costing about 1/2 less per oil change than the Rev x did.

I still think it would be cheaper to burn it or put in a Cummins. ;)

Me too. If it comes down to selling the truck or the srt, the truck loses. Theres only one reason id ever sell the srt and this house sure isnt it. Im supposed to have a sit down with my contractor tomorrow to see if we can come up with a realistic (affordable) plan B.

And yes Pete I will see you in peru at the minimum. Still not sure whats going on, I should know more tomorrow. Even if I do keep the truck, I may not drive it out. Something has kicked my mpg in the sack all of a sudden. 30mpg in a neon sounds alot better to my wallet than the 14-15mpg my truck is seeing.

Congrats Dar!

That's really nice news on the grandson. My only news is I have the majority of the parts to swap to an s400 on jaeger. Just need clamps, pipe, and the turbo itself
