I've been eyeing a few 440's around me but not jumped on anything. Im just ready for something a little different I guess. I'll put the Cummins in one of my Ford's.

Do you want a builder 440 or one ready to go?

I've been looking for a complete runner. I've actually been looking for a decent old camper. That way I could remove the cab and front end, build a wall and install a gooseneck and have a camper too. Lol

What a horrid idea. Leave the duck as is and add some power to it. Any retard can throw a big block in a small truck and make it move, cool factor is really low IMHO.

Dar, congrats you old fart!

I added it up the other night, I have about $275 in the plumbing for my twins, pipes, oil plumbing, fittings, etc.

Rats! I came up with $500 for my side by side set up and shelved the idea. I had all metal and V-bands everywhere except the cold pipe's secondary end. Reinforced straight 4" boot there.

It's complicated. I'm busy and making money now, so I haven't dived into that project. If I had free time and was poor, I'd be all over it.

Jon, yup. A 4-5" adapter, 2 5" 90*, a 45, 2 3" 90*, some 2.5 and 3" straight pipe, a stick of 2.5 inch IC hose, a brass Y and some bends for the drains, (the Y was $25). A few flanges, clamps and a 90*3-4" boot. I forget how much the air filter was, I don't think that was in the receipts. Not too bad IMO.

Time spent, priceless! ;)
Only because my time isn't worth anything.

I then proceeded to use it for an afc spring. I could still benefit from a stronger spring, I honestly (without doing the math) never thought that it would come close to compressing.

Well, this turned out to be a pointless venture. Didn't really change a thing, It did slow my 30psi to 50psi fueling down though...... Like I needed help there.

I take that back... though 30 feels like it is helping.... I just turned my aftermarket fuel pin around (straight on the back) and can still hit 39-40 psi of boost.... WITH A 62/68!

I need more air.
