For instance, awhile back there was a mid 50's Buick in Hot Rod mag, built by Rad Rides by Troy. That had 20's on it, but they fit with the car. I'll try and find a pic.

Either way, sweet car, owner can do as he wants, if he likes it, all that matters

Yep 55
I agree on the wheels, old cars should have a old school wheel IMHO

Of course I still sport 15s on my 82 too, with no plans of changing that either

Get it warmed up,with the air cleaner off,rev it up and smoother it down with your hand over the carb till it nearly dies, remove hand and clean it out by reving it back up. I do this two or three times and it usually work good for clearing goo and trash out of the boosters, which is what's wrong with yours Caleb.

I'll be dogged! I think it worked. I got bored after watching it run flawlessly for 20 minutes, which is twice as long as it had been.

Thanks guys!

Thanks. It usually runs great, even though it sits for months at a time  I like using it for hay since it has great hydraulics and power steering, plus the T/A. But it flat out drinks the gas

Putting a diesel in would fix that problem right up

The 460 and 560 diesels had a reputation for tearing up rear ends. They were a few cubes bigger and N/A obviously.

After the -60 series I have to say I'd buy green. If I could afford them

Anything's cheap if you're crafty, and are willing to rebuild engines

Not New Generation John Deeres. Ragged out 4020s with bald tires and 10,000 hours still fetch over $7000 at the right auction.

2 hours of mowing pasture and roadsides says the carb on my tractor is fixed. I dumped some cheap gas treatment in the tank for good luck. runs like a top again 8)

Over the past two days, I'd been having a fuel system scare on my Dodge. About six separate times it cranked excessively and fired after I gave it some "gas". The whole time it was below 1/4 tank. I refilled at my regular station today and haven't has an issue since. I think the last station I filled up at slipped some B20 in on me and it cleaned up some crap in the system.

While filling up, a bus load of douche bag high school baseball players rolls up and one made the "hoss the gas, blow some smoke" hand signal. I kindly told him that my truck was stock. He made the motion again. I pointed to the diesel pump and said "Says $100, can't be doing that." His reply, "Oh, it costs me $120 to fill up".

I bit my tongue, but wanted to say, "I wouldn't care either if the credit card had my dad's name on it!"

It's kind of a wind it up and let the smoke pour out down low kind of gesture.

I've seen this little piece cruising around town: http://kokomo.craigslist.org/cto/4507061020.html

I hate short beds, but it's a nice truck.
