I don't know if that merits a congratulations, but thanks. I find it amusing that originally they wouldn't touch a wrench because I had no formal training. Evidently that's out the window. Until now I always said I'd never be a pro mechanic, but now that I've worked in a shop, I'll gladly take a road tech job. There are no whiny, crabby, or lazy mechanics out on the road.

Does anyone know if we have a 12V power source that only active while the engine is running? If not what is the easiest and safest keyed 12V source to grab power from? May finally get around to putting my lift pump on.

Pete, Hiney, Zach, we now have to surrender our gay crown, scepter, and cape and ship them to Mississippi. There's a new king in town.

I saw Ellis using emojis on FB, it literally doesn't get any gayer than that.

Easy, run a trigger wire from say....the fuel shut off circuit, to a relay, you could run it straight from the battery. Really any "key on" circuit should work. Put a relay and appropriate size automatic resetting two post circuit beaker and you'll be in business.

I was thinking of using the FSS. I already have the wiring harness with the relay.

I've never used them, not even ironically. That should prove my disapproval.

I don't hate nissans, but the only real exposure I've had to them was an 80's 280zx (literally the sexiest thing on wheels) and my aunts old 90's Pathfinder which refused to die.

So.... I took my air horn off today, and for a few minutes I couldn't figure out why I have soot (yes, exhaust) all over inside of my intake log... and then it dawned on me.... stock valve springs open when they are seeing 50+ psi of boost.

Anyone else think they may have some power less potential there?

After that, it really dawned on me.... I have invented a homemade egr.... I'm just looking out for the environment.

Now all you need is the cam out of a 6.7 cummins and you'd have a full blown egr without a cooler
Ducati- professional nap taker, and thread derailer extraordinaire
Brownie: 80 dodge heavy half. Ghost cummins under the hood, and some sinister plans
The Roo Hunter: 93 w250, lifted, 2 whistle machines, and a bunch of other go fast goodies, uhh..... not there yet
Jaeger: 12 ram 3500. Lifted, exhausted, and fed an excessive quantity of air
The Huntress: 02 Jetta TDI. No muffler, egr, horsepower

That damn sure ain't what is made these days. I like the older stuff, not this newer stuff. It's junk.
