It have less the 8,000 miles and been to the dealer 4 times for transmission problems. One time it wouldn't let the driver take it out of park but when it got back to the shop everything worked just fine and the dealer said nothing was wrong. Also it uses DPF like crazy, like 12gals in 1,600 miles. The sales rep. for Wisconsin has a new duramax when loaded it uses 10gals of DPF in 5,000 miles. I'm sure with tuning and deleting stuff it would fix most of it but if it was me I wouldn't want to fix a brand new truck and end up with no warranty.

Sounds like you have a huh? dealer that doesn't want to investigate the issues.

Well that was an uneventful day. I kept looking in here, and nobody posted anything new. On a separate note my brother and I reorganized the large amount of vehicles in our yard (1 gmc, 1 vw rabbit, my brothers new project truck he got for a grand, a customers 98 24v, and The Roo Hunter) then we returned the trailer we borrowed to transport said project truck

Ran in the diesel race Saturday. Got 2nd in bracket! Lost by .0023 seconds. He had a hole shot win.

Old tuning: 17.2 with just a ground pin
New tuning: 17.1, ground pin, power screw all the way in, no OD.

It wouldn't shift for nothing at full throttle on the track. Does it on the street. Shifts around 67mph. However that day it wouldn't. So I ran with OD off and got consistent 17.16-17.18 I ran it on a 17.15 dial.

Yes, I'll take that bet. Out on the road it's just me, myself, and I. I'm none of the above. In my opinion

Now you get to meet ignorant, cheap, opinionated owners/operators who are plenty willing to get right in your business and make you lose your train of thought with stupid questions.

I'd much rather be in a shop where I could throw in some headphones and give anyone bothering me the finger.

It'd be cool to see someone(hint hint) modify the linkage for full travel and then run it. Then install 366 spring and see what that gains there are.

Get outta my head!

I did take out the high throttle stop screw. Forgot about that. However I'm still in the outside hole and compared to my old truck with a 4200 spring, it's like the difference between our trucks shifter throw and a Vw with a short shift kit in throttle travel.
