So yesterday I calculated out the mileage on one of our 11 f-550 service trucks. I think it was grossing close to 20,000 pounds with everything in it and the trailer behind. It did close to 7.5mpg. I consider that not too bad for how much it idled (started it a little after 7, and shut it down around 12 hours later

So this weekend we wasn't supposed to go to southern iowa...but then my brother decided to come up (went to school for underwater welding) since he got a job and will probably be gone for 3 years we decided to drive down. I decided I'd scrap some for a little extra money and mom was complaining about "junk" sitting in her yard. most of this was my stuff. 4k lbs.

we took another load in that was 3800 lbs, a 2wd cummins frame and cab and some slant 6 heads and various engine parts and junk.
Ike came over Sunday morning to pick up part of the roof off the red ext cab. It was nice meeting him...Just wish I had the time to drop into Michaels and meet some more of you guys.

Caleb, I was talking about me!

I got 19.5 going to Indiana to meet Philip. I still have to fill up to see what I got on the way back. I'm sure it was less, there was a slight tailwind thru Ohio and a big one thru Pa.

So its finally back together, well kind of. Back it out and gave it a wash more of an under body wash. Soon it should be driving and making a few local hooks.

Hey I say helpful things occasionally. The custom tuning section in the 4th gen area has been getting pretty interesting the last few weeks

Okay I really would like to see if I could get my ac working on the Duck. I'd rather not buy a compressor right now. What do you think the chances of my compressor working after being unhooked for 2 years?

Anything is possible. Are your lines leaking a tiny bit at the fittings at all?

At least your lines still appear good, the Pile's are soooo rusty, I was afraid of breaking them when I did the cab swap
