I'd have to look it up, but the "ho" engines are now behind the autos. The Aisin (or however you spell it) gets the highest hp rating.

On another note http://youtu.be/0CrcljSMcbk

I've got some tune tweaking to do, but she's a runner. Smacked the 2-3 shift point so hard yesterday it did a full defuel before shifting (I think it exceeded where it wanted to shift by about 400rpm) also I had a neat moment where I pegged the speedometer and watched the tach keep climbing

It took less than 10 seconds to get by that semi though. It does demonstrate how quickly that 80 spools though once it downshifts

Interesting. RIP stock auto

Lately I've been looking for a drop deck for the W9 to pull. While we have pick-ups that will pull ~25k gross (combined) of hay on the gooseneck, it will eventually wear them out. Plus who doesn't like the sound of a straight piped Big Cam?

Moral of the story: I used to think that used gooseneck prices were insane until I started looking at semi trailers. Philip, does Jeremy have a drop deck or a deck over? I'm thinking of height issues when the deck is already 4 feet off the ground.

Jeremy has a deck over. The drop deck he used to have the trailing arms rusted out on it. A deck over is cheaper than a drop deck in the used market most of the time.

Your only allowed 13' 6" tall. A full load of big squares only weights around 30K at the most. With a drop deck you won't add another row higher on big squares. On big rounds he runs a full double row on the deck. The second row is a single row down the center.

We're all small squares and 5x6 rounds. Can his skid steer stack the second layer of big rounds on the deck over? We have a loader on the 4320, so I sure think if a skid steer can stack 2 high so can a loader tractor. Dad's working in Remington this summer and he'll be driving by Schilli every day. They always have deck overs for sale.

His skid loader can do the second row.

Find a closed tandem trailer. Schilly uses spreads from what I remember. Tight turns you do local most of the time eats tires and bearings on spread axles.

In uneven ground backing a spread can be a pain if the trailer doesn't have a dump valve on it. It will turn on the axle with the most weight on it. If you setup for rear axle back in and it pivots on the front axle. Well time to reset for the front axle. Then most likely it will do the rear axle after respotting.

At work for our storage trailers we do not use or buy spread axles. To much of a pain in a unimproved parking area.

I've been trying to send a PM and every time I hit submit it puts the message in the outbox folder and it doesn't show up in the sent folder. It even says message submitted successfully but it still goes to the outbox. So if I haven't answered anyone that PM me, that's why.
