Social drinker here as well, I can go for over a month and not drink anything, but at the same time I can go out and have a half dozen if I'm out with friends or relaxing after some beer league sports.

Hey Eric what would you recommend for pistons for The Roo Hunter with my 1200whp goal?

The Roo Hunter: 93 w250, lifted, 2 whistle machines, and a bunch of other go fast goodies, uhh..... not there yet
Jaeger: 12 ram 3500. Lifted, exhausted, and fed an excessive quantity of air
The Huntress: 02 Jetta TDI. No muffler, egr, horsepower

Realistically... depends on who you ask. There are a fifty different pistons that have been used to get there.... Hamilton, Weston, CPP, Haisley, Scheids.... all of the "best way" yet all are different.

So it all depends on who you feel most comfortable taking advise from.

Glad Ike is here, I wasn't fessing up until someone else did.

I usually have 2 beers a night, one as I come in the door and one in the shower right before bed. Depending on how hot/huh? the day was before I may have one or two more, but rarely more than 3.

In the shop or mowing the yard? As many as I can comfortably drink, usually around 2 an hour. The more I work the less I drink, the more I lounge, the more I drink.

I don't do bars or parties much anymore. Can't take the hangovers or dealing with the idiots I manage to avoid the other 99% of my life.

I don't drink, I've tried some, but can't stand the taste of alcohol, or beer lol. So I don't drink, smoke, chew.....I do drink a lot of pop......if I'm working at home I'll go though about 10 cans a day.

I'm with Ike and Levi, I like beer, usually some flavor of Labatts. I like Jack and and cokes too. I like a beer with dinner, and maybe a few if I'm with friends. I used to be a social drinker, but I don't go anyplace and drink anymore because I need my license too. The most I have is 2, maybe 3, if I'm at my friends house up the street.

Caleb, the key to not getting a bad hangover is to keep hydrated, drink water before, and sometimes while you are drinking. The booze dehydrates you, that what gives you the headache. ;)

Exactly Pete. I will hydrate while I am downing the beers, and just before I go to sleep, I'll pop 800mg of ibuprofen. Wake up good as new.

Now that I'm old and wise, I'll go about 1 to 1 with Gatorade or water. Hydration is 110% the key.

That results in needing to visit the bushes quite a lot though

no dinking here, it's been 29 years ago, I was a Jim Beam right outa the bottle kinda guy, when I was 12 years old me and my
cousin was out plinkin with riffles and shooting beer bottles under a bridge, we found some that had not been opened, pooped off
the top and gave it a good whiff, bought hit my gag reflex, dumped it out and a nice slimy little mouse had been caped inside
at the factory.....never could smell beer after that....probly a really good thing to happen to me.

the wife drank baby millers, but I told her it was over when we got married and she has held good on it for 28 years. :D

I might go thru a 6 pack on the weekend if Im out with friends. During the week, I'll sit down with a beer before I crash for the night if I have work both jobs. I dont rarely get drunk much anymore, a lil fuzzy feeling and Im about done. Having to get up everday for work will do that I guess.

Well I got the head off the s10 today and the head gasket is still intact. I didn't see any oil in the coolant either so what caused the foamy oil? I think I might just throw a new HG on it and run it.

Bad idea.
That aluminum head is warped just from taking it off. You really need to have it checked out because doing the job twice will suck.

Any u tractor/equipment guys have an opinion on the older bobcat 610's? Headed out to look at one, need some work, but runs good, has slight hydro leak at the valves, I'll know what's leaking in a bit

So I picked this up today. Got it from a good friend, so its on a "trial period". Other than finding/fixing a couple of hydro leaks, and welding the cracked bucket, it runs, drives, works good. Low hours on rebuilt engine. Should work good for moving snow, trailers, general yard junk
