The sound. I HATE the sound. The concept is awesome, but retrofitting them and the damn noise make me not like them.

Yes. I'm sure it's "worth" more, but I take care of my own. That figure is about what I need to get my finances back to where they should be.

That's a very fair price Caleb.
Now that you have a stupid "smart" phone, throw it up on facebreather. With the sthi I see posted up,yours wouldn't have issues selling.
Seen one on there the other day that said in the description, " odo is broken (at 250+) cruise doesn't work, radio doesn't work, needs this that and the other.......asking 7200"

I wouldn't even care what an appraisal would say. It's more of a common sense type of thing to me,when you can buy 20year newer, better machines for the same money......in better condition, seems kind of ridiculous to me. Hell, there was a mint 1stgen on Craigslist in Florida that was asking 10k with 2700miles on it.......with zero issues. Didn't really look as if anyone had even so much as farted in the seats. With something like that out there why would anyone pay premium money for a clap trap with partially operating accessories, and god knows how many miles. Better yet how do you know how it's been maintained, does the owner have some magical odo in side his brain that tells him when it's time to change fluids.

Another thing to consider, try selling a vehicle newer than ten years old with a dud odometer. You probably won't get half it's book value.

7200 bucks is a huge gamble when buying a scooby doo mystery machine.

I don't have a Facebook account. If the buyers on craigslist wear me out, I believe that the buyers on Facebook would push me over the edge.

I wonder about pricing sometimes. I generally price things so I am happy with 75% of the asking price. I have to admit that I gave less than 60% of the asking price on this Ford though. I guess the casual wheeler and dealer does not understand how motivating cash is.

That's exactly where I'm at Ellis. Show me a rust free 4x4 1st gen for under $6000 that I won't have $1000 in travel expenses wrapped up in getting it home. I love 1st gens and I know every nut and bolt of them but I can't afford them when a truck that's more than a decade newer is the same price.

Some giant troll post about how Ford made the new PS a 6.7 so when it failed Ford could drop in a 6.7 Cummins the next factory year without redoing smog and whatnot.

I saw it this morning when it had one reply, didn't bother trying to track it down again.

I got bored at work. OMG. You should see the response I got. All off the wall. And all the better when people caught on and helped stir the chit pot.

People are really dumb. They either call you names, resort to the same "shoulda bought a Prius" comebacks, think they know everything, or just plain don't know how to respond.

That said, it was good for MANY laughs. Especially displacedtexans Illuminati comment.

What year cab mounts fit our trucks? I was looking on the 'bay and saw a bunch that fit '72-80 something, but not newer. I need a full set in a bad way. I thought the cab looked swaybacked the other day, so I looked under the left rear and the mount has about 1/4 inch of play where it has settled. And I know the core support mounts are shot too. Anybody know a place to find them? I didn't really want poly ones, whated to stick to the softer rubber ones.

I enjoyed the comment about the space in the engine bay of a ford after a cummins swap, they try to make out like it was pre planned by ford to utilize a cummins.
