I'm done complaining

I wonder if parts interchange between the TTB and straight axle?

Good. I've got to do axle u-joints on jaeger, but the parts are back ordered, so I'll have to risk it for a while

Chevy and doge spindles are the same and Ford is smaller with different bolt pattern.

I figured as much. Thanks Brian for the quick answer.

From what I've read you can use hubs, lockouts, calipers and on some years the Dana 50 spindle can be used on the Dana 60. I'll be pulling parts and comparing.

I fixed my unit bearings on the 97. When I changed them out I looked at the old one carefully and drilled a test hole. Measured the hole, drilled almost into the new bearing, tapped it for a grease fitting, then drilled the rest of the way with grease on the bit. Wa La! Greaseable unit bearing!
So you can really understand I was right spazzed out when I saw my year old zinc coated rotors were all rusted away on the inside, and I'll have to pull the damn bearing to replace them again in a year or so.

As for the geese crossing the road, we get that here. I won't stop, just slow down some. I had to stop in traffic a few weeks ago, some woman from the Midas Muffler was herding geese across the road on a 4 lane divided road and had all 4 lanes stopped. I would have run the SOBs over. Then I found out that there is a $300 fine for any you kill.

I'll be tuning in for that. I'm not a fan of the plastic, unit bearings, or the vacuum BS.

A guy here in town ran through a flock of geese with his car and got arrested for it. Thanks to the government banning their hunting, now there's too many of them. I saw a figure that they chit their body weight something like every 4 days. Fun fact of the day.

Voice of experience?

Caleb, I heard an old guy say, "eat everything in front of them and ruin everything behind them." I feel bad for the kids playing sports at the schools, damn birds are all over the fields. I think they ought to be shot and donated to the Salvation Army or something to feed the homeless.

They must not come down here, they'd get shot regardless. I know about stupid animal laws.....there's a 10k fine behind killing alligator in the Pascagoula game management land here. Those damn things are so plentiful now (we're talking over 10yrs) that they look like drift wood piled in the bends of the river, hand of God you can't run a boat 1/4 mile without encountering 1. The locked lakEs are even worse. I haven't been in the river for the last few years because of it,it's just dangerous.....and stupid.
