I don't visit those sites much if at all. I plunder the sticky on dtr and thumb thru comp d (I blame Levi for that one) a pretty good bit,but never post.
I like messing with you guys :) don't you all feel special? :lol:

Oh and I like looking thru the treads and seeing folks that were true dickheads here act so nice there.

This site and Kydtr are only ones I really post on anymore. I'm on FTE but don't post a lot there. I haven't been on CF or CompD in a while and never really cared for DTR.

Why do 1st genners not like Cummins Forum?

I'm Pretty much exclusively on cf and here. I thumb through comp d once in a while, but have less than 10 posts still. Haven't been on dtr in quite a while. I see more info shared on cf than anywhere else it seems (I've derailed quite a few threads if I'm honest)

The Huntress: 02 Jetta TDI. No muffler, egr, horsepower

Really I didnt like some of the smart ass replies I read while browsing,some resemble the ricer diesel book of faces groups.

Reason I like Cummins Forum...... folks are just new enough, that things are actually talked about and useful information given out.

Same goes for this forum. There are a few other forums that have some real dinks on there that just need to be gone. Or they are so used to the diesel world that they just bs the entire time and then make fun of anyone who has a question.

One thing I don't like is the performance section consists mostly of what I consider to be basic questions. HX35 and He351 threads, exhaust, intake, PS cooler. Not that there's anything wrong with asking those questions (how else will you learn?), I'm just not interested. I have a theory that when people start to get into Cummins engines, they type "cummins forum" into Google search. Well it's pretty obvious what's going to be at the top of that list. Thus CF ends up with all the noobs.
All that being said, I don't dislike CF, it's just not as interesting as here or CompD.

The main reason the newbs start.........google any question about Cummins, and the first few things that will come up is Cummins forum.


I've said it before and I'll say it again......THE MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN A SPORT ARE THE NEWBIES, AS THEY ARE WHAT KEEPS IT GOING. IT IS THE JOB OF THE VETERANS TO NOT FORGET THAT THEY WERE ONCE KNEW AND HELP THESE FOLKS LEARN, AS IF THEY DON'T.... THEY ARE NOT TRUE LOVERS OF A SPORT, THEY ARE LOVERS OF THEIR OWN ADVANCEMENT IN SAID SPORT, FOR NOTHING MORE THAN SELF RECOGNITION.
