For lockup control they sell preset and adjustable pressure switches, the adjustable would let you dial it in. The governor pressure port is 1/8 pipe in the front flange of the OD unit on the passenger side iirc. I would also wire a toggle switch to bypass the auto switch, on long grades it would be nice to have the tranny in direct and still have lockup. I intend to wire up bypass toggle switch in my 98, when pulling long grades with load when you hit the button to take it out of overdrive it also drops out of lockup and the temp gauge immediately starts climbing.
