Is the smoke screw flush? Slide pin leaving a track to the shallowest part of fuel pin and lubed and moving freely? Did it haze with the new injectors before you bumped the timing to the head? As far as warmups for headgasket/engine life, treat it as you would yourself if you went to the gym. You don't just walk in and grab the heaviest weight you can lift and go hard, you'll most likely bugger yourself up. You gotta stretch and start with lighter weights and get warmed up. I keep boost under 10-12 psi until coolant temps are up, and do a couple moderate short pulls at 17-20 psi, then 25-27 psi, at which point, imo, it's ready for the beans.
