Thanks man. 8) I had a day to work it over with a 6" angle grinder after I told you about it, so most of the evidence is gone now.

Justin, I don't think I'm going to bother with a used head. I don't expect them to be any better than what I'm throwing away. I'm cornered into a new Cummins head at the very least, due to the tolerances I'll be running because of this cam. :bom:

Yeah, or find one I can crutch around on until I save up enough to get what I want. :P

I really want to see what this cam is capable of by itself.

Doubtful, besides I haven't even started to work on the actual body and chassis of this thing. It's still got an open rearend even.

I want something that's fun to drive and mess around with newer cars in. You don't need anywhere near highest 12mm numbers for that.

500-600hp easily streetable and nearly smoke free will impress more than ricers. Corvettes owners will hate you though.

Good enough for 12s in the 1/4.

Are you guy about done?

There's nothing else in my combo to imply that it will be that impressive of a performer. I just want it to run healthy. I'm still scouting out prices to see what'll be the best directions to go.
