Yes and it's very easy. It's an orange and green wire (I think it's that color anyways, double check before you go hacking away :D ) on the drivers side of the trans. Cut that wire and run the end that's attached to the trans, to one side of your switch. On the other side of the switch run a wire to a good ground. When your switch is grounded in third gear, overdrive comes on.

If I leave it on a switch I will change it some. I want to ground it straight to the frame and then run the power side to the switch then to a indicator light so I don't forget it's in OD. Those early morning drives 35 miles one way on the interstate sometimes I forget. I may switch it to my shifter button also since I have a 2nd gen shifter in mine.

Do you have a 2nd gen tilt column swapped in yours?

No I have the first gen tilt colum I just snagged a shift lever out of a 2nd gen and put in mine. I've been thinking more on the indicator light idea. Plan is to run a fused live power to an indicator light then run the ground from the switch to the light and then back down to the trans.
