Those injector lines actually shine really nicely, but I just don't have an eye for that kind of stuff. The less noticeable stuff under my hood is the better.

It's cool when people notice stuff I've done, but I appreciate it even more when I know they had to really look at it to catch it. 8)

Plus, it's a really good excuse for me to not have to keep things clean. ;)

Lazy azz. Is the truck ever going to see mud? If no, clean it.

JMO though. Did you happen to primer the engine 1st?

No "mud", but I work in a gravel quarry so it's not on asphalt all the time. It's always got a coating of dust and grime on it. That's why I rarely wash it, I can drive it to work one day and it would look just as bad as before.

We didn't primer it, but I steamed, washed, and brake cleaned it before scuffing anything smooth enough to potentially not hold paint. The buddy that sprayed it said that paint would be fine in this application, except right around the exhaust outlets where it may get a bit hot for it. He does this for a living so I trust him.

Told you those VCs would look good. :P

The last two are still at work waiting on paint. I had to cut one up for the oil fill and the epoxy didn't have time to dry. I figure anything else I paint will be flat black. I've got all the color I need under there as far as I can tell.

I put a 24v breather on my timing cover in case blowby from the twins gets to be too much. It replaces the 12v oil fill, which you can see a page or so back, so I had to put it somewhere else.

I doubt I'll bother with the VC breathers, since they have a bad habit of costing a lot of money, so hopefully this'll do. 8)

I swear you are trying to make your truck more and more like mine with the freshly painted block, different color valve covers, ect. Who knows, maybe your gonna be throwing a ppump on it soon.

The valve covers do look pretty good on there

You might be right, it's basically getting a P-pump simulation while it sits in pieces in the garage. :P It might not know what to do once it actually tries to turn over again.

I know, the second I knocked the tamper-proof cover off the fuel screw it was worthless. ;)

The green with black looks tits. Hell anything with black looks good, but I must say I really dig the green. Good choice bud!

Thanks, man. The more I bolt onto it the more I know it was the perfect color. 8)

Once I get the turbos, hotpipe, manifold, and blankets back on the exhaust side won't be nearly as green...
