I fired it up tonight!! Rockauto came through like a monster and had my steering hose here in one day. Bleeding the fuel turned out to be a huge PITA, which turned out to be because I didn't tighten any of the air ferrels on the suction side of my LP. The 2 on the filter were easy to find, but the one on the LP I didn't notice until after I had dropped the tank again to check my pickup.![]()
It fired up nice, and besides a couple of return leaks it didn't have any drips. There's still a return leak at the tank I'll have to fix and once I rerun the valve it'll be ready for a idle up to temp and then another retorque of the studs and the valves again.
Of course the damn thing blew smoke all over me when it started. I think it smokes worse now than it did before, so who knows how bad that fuel line restriction was hurting me...
Oh, and if it's not a big deal, I'll get the fan info tomorrow. I spent the night laying in a pool of diesel so I'm gonna hit the shower and the recliner.
