this one looks like an exact copy of mine except mine has a bead rolled in the end of the tube to help retain the hose

Yeah it looks a little familar, with the exceptions that mine are made of 409 to resist cracking, filet TIG welded in the middle to be stronger and TIG welded inside and out at the flange to keep it all together there as well. Very nice job on the polish though! 8)

Hey tim, do you (or could you) make an intake for a non i/c "stovepipe" model that starts off with a 3.5 inch dia instead of 3? I am thinking of doing a compressor upgrade to a HTT Stage IV and I think they use a 3.5 outlet.

thanks

roxxx:

Hey no apology needed! :) It is always good to see what is out there. Yeah I make them so we can have 3" from the turbo to the intake plate plus it elimanates 1 45 degree bend and about 10" of tubing compared to the stock unit not to mention the restriction at the air horn.

Jason:

Our member rbrettctd started to make some for the non I/C motors, not sure where he is at in his project, hopefully he will chime in. Somebody can correct me if I am wrong but, I think you can run any size outlet you want off of the Stage IV. Not exactly sure what you mean by "stovepipe" either?

like tim said, "nice polish job"

that thing is for poser's

you need a bead on the end of it or it wont stay together
