After 25 weeks of class, I finally graduated from the Kentucky Horseshoeing School's 22-week farrier Career Track (or some similar BS) program. Got my diploma, passed my live horse, got a 86% on the written test, and had the highest scoring shoe display (ALL handmades) in my class, even with one shoe not passing. I have an apprenticeship lined up with an AFA examiner (he's one of the guy who passes or fails the journeyman test candidates) 3 days a week. From the horses I've seen, good farriers and good mechanics in this area are just about as common as liberals who want to shrink government- they dont hardly exist.
And one more thing-
I'm getting married this October. Not to worry- I'm not like KRB, who has his anniversary the same weekend as SOP- ours is later in the month. We should be at SOP this year, too. It's a tradition, ya know.
