Comp Grounds are in connector 3 (color idk) pins 19 solid black

Comp ignition on power is in connector 4. Pink wire pin 18.

These two were mia. On the white wire for the tach is it in the big main bulkhead or the little white one under the hood? Im splicing wires in as we speak and wrapping the harness back up.

Main one. There should be several plugs on top(like the cruise,wipers,abs....)Then one on the bottom that bolts in the block. That wire should be in the bolted one.

good deal!

I struck out on a vortech harness,so no pic :grrr:

The harness you have there, does it still have the coil plug? If it does hook that grey wire to the tach prong on that HEi and see it that tach works.

Well its together but the dang oil psi gauge won't work now. When I plug in the new sender it goes wacko then to zero and check gauge light comes on.

Have i ever mentioned i hate Chevrolet gas motors? Lost the oil pump today installing the mechanical gauge she started ticking. I shut it off and pulled passenger valve cover and it's just barely dribbling oil. So tomorrow im going to try and get the pan off with the motor in the truck. Wish me luck I'm going to need it.
