Yea.. but we don't have as cool of goodies to tune. Our little ve doesn't have all of those options.

I still think it's cool to tune a ve. With a cr it's hitting keys and staring at a screen. With the ve there's the physical aspect that you just don't get with new stuff

I enjoy messing with the VE...but one thing I can't figure out on mine is that right now it is about halfway between stock and max on the fuel screw...if I turn it in more it does what is should except when side stepping between part and full throttle it will damn near die and kick right back up to idle. The further it is in, the worse it gets with the RPM drop, at just about max, it'll die when the RPM's come down from part-full throttle. I can't figure it out, so it's been set mid range for now :?

I had a Chrysler Conquest, it was an awesome little car. Unfortunately, they used a throttle body injection system that had a weird operating setup and it sucked wondering whether it was going to run right that day.

When it did run right though it was an awesome car. There wasn't an intersection around I didn't leave sideways. That had was setup so that once you were sideways you didn't even have to mess with the steering wheel. It was easily controlled with just the throttle. I loved that car. 8)

I rode around Huston and made a few trips to and from there to here in a starion (same thing). It was a cool old Car.....except when that weirdo mass air thing started flaking out. That thing would screw the cars whole world up and make it a turd.

The guy that owned it worked late shift at a Krogers There and when it rained would be out in the parking lot trying to do action movie driver stunts. He'd act like a real clown in it.

I kind of want a chevette to do some kind of turbo engine. Tub it and run some big slicks. I feel like it could be really quick

Mine used to do that when it was near runaway..... it doesn't do it anymore though??? Fresh return springs maybe?

I got some that I could throw on. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the governor assembly sticking or not catching the RPM's as they come down...or something of the sort, that's the only thing I can think of....

Come to think about it, I believe mine quit when I put in the 3800 spring. It may be fighting the governor just enough to not allow it to do it anymore. Mine used to do it when it was cold, but wouldn't when it was warmed up.

I now want to get The Roo Hunter running with a ve again, and run it until I have all the parts to put together the built engine. So I'm going to finish the compounds, put in my sump, and an inline filtration system, run that into my raptor, rebuild my ve, and get my injectors checked out. I think I want to go to a 3800 rpm gov spring, add a timing spacer, loctite the front seal, and reseal it. Anyone know where I could get the pump stuff?

Ellis you have any input on the cardone reman pcms? I haven't checked with Ford but I don't want to pay $5-600 for one.
