Postby VanillaGorilla » Thu Jun 28, 2012 4:05 pm

So my truck plowed most of it's life and the front springs are negative arched. Since i havethem i was wondering if anyone has ever used front springs from a half ton 4 inch lift? Sound sketchy?

The problem with that is when they sag, they get longer. Long enough in fact that the shackle will hit the frame. Shoot, sagged out stockers almost hit the frame as is. All springs settle and sag eventually. I seen 2" Skyjackers new at $300ish a pair for the heavier capacity versions. Springs are like boobs, some sag faster than others ;)
