Hard to say really, i have nothing but worn out stock springs to compare too. They are much better than the worn stockers though.

I had a great experiece dealing with this company http://www.generalspringkc.com/ when i called down there i actuly talked to sombody that was worked in the shop not just a call taker(the guy i spoke with actuly gad a 1st gen). i was only looking to go a little bit higher than stock so they re-arched the springs up 2 in for me. total price with labor and shipping for two springs was $364.00

I'm getting Alcans for my current project because it will be lifted.

For stock height, if you don't wan't to spend $$$$$ run late 1960s Dodge 3/4t springs. one eye has a double leaf wrap and they ride much nicer than any stock cummins spring. If you can find a good used pair, install poly bushings and run them! Not sure if new aftermarket ones are any good.

Here's the 60's springs on my last truck:

I don't think useing Sweptline era front springs would work on a 92. As far as I can tell , Dodge went to a bigger front spring bolt for the 91 1/2 -93 trucks.
