It does have the D G crack, its about an inch long right now. The grille is one of the few body pieces that is salvageable, the hood is actually in good shape. There might be a few small pieces here and there that can be re-used, but for the most part, the body is scrap. I have found a few body donors around here for less than $1500, clean, no rot trucks...

It is, it has a ridiculous set of rear springs under it, it has some lift springs in the front, not sure how high though, 2"-4" maybe?

Speaking of ladies, it looks like you dragged home the quintessential "tramp", while telling mom "I knew her way before, she's a real fine gal, some soap, water and medicine and she'll be good as gold", all the while knowing she's gonna' be nothing but trouble.

I'm kinda' disheartened for you, you knew the truck in it's glory and you may have to swap out the body out to make it nice again.
I don't know about you, and maybe I'm superstitious, but the "soul" (If you believe in such things) of the truck lives within the original cab.
Maybe you can re-dress her, give her medicine and fix her wounded soul?
