I've run a couple of detroits and lockrites too and don't have any complaints about them.Any tricks to get open diff to hook?

I've welded the fronts in some of my mud bog Jeeps, and just run through the hole with the parking brake set. I've run a couple of detroits and lockrites too and don't have any complaints about them.
