what is the differets between an holset h1c and wh1c turbo? and well the inlet side from h1c fit on an wh1c? i find were it an wh1c needs rebuilt, the wh1c has exhuast housin and wastegate comes with it. i also find were theres the middle been rebuilt i may get it put i need inlet side thats why i was wondering

the w in wh1c means it is wastegated
92 d350, arp's, orings, 150lb springs, 4200 gsk ,ground pin ,64/71/14 ,ddp inj's, ats manifold, tim's tubez, ats trans, FASS, locker, timing + a tooth, bcdd intake

2001 2wd rclb dually 5sp, smarty, Bluechip FMS, TS MVP, 57/75 twins, stainless diesel pipe kit, valair clutch, airdog 150, DFI SAC 7x.014's, cheap a$$ intake, ARP studs, oringed head, CPP 115# springs

HOWEVER......there are two diff. h1c turbos.

The Non I/c trucks have a smaller h1c on the compressor side.
89 RC on shortened 92 diesel frame - NV4500 w/dual disc/4.10s on 37s. - Self built pump, "hot screw", lots of timing, True high volume low pressure lift pump, 62fmw/68/.7gated, 77lpm SAC Inj., Studs/O-rings,- 423/1220 Mustang - 11/16/2013 http://www.TheHungryDiesel.com full line dealer, if you don't see it please ask.

A true wh1c has the same inducer as a hx35,which is 2mm bigger than a h1c at 56mm vs 54mm.
I've got one tore apart in a box :)

I measured the ends of the turbine blades to find out what it was. I had the same thing told to me,that the wh1c was the same only to find out it was the same as the hx35. I don't know about the baby h1c but the turbine shaft interchanges with the wh1c,h1c,hx35,hx40(older) turbos,least thru all of my digging thats what I've came to understand. I bought all my rebuild stuff from gds when I was building my hybrid and even the guy there said the same.

I can dig up some old pics of how I did it if it'll help you out
