No, for that very reason. I'm surprised that the fuel that had set in the filter for about 24 hours wasn't gelled. I'm nearly sure it accumulated enough wax to plug the filter. We shall see. I needed something to do tomorrow anyways

The reason I was running one was because I didnt fully trust that screen to stop the garbage in the fuel, wanted to catch it before it had a chance to score the piston bore. I will put it back on come spring time and run it till it gets chilly again.

You folks have sh!tty fuel. I've never in my life had an issue with fuel gelling........but then again, ours is treated for about 30 degrees colder than it ever gets here.

We had a very mild winter last year, so its hard telling how it was blended/treated. Its supposed to get back up to the 20's/30's later on this week...

I posted this to Ike's fb page earlier. Im looking at getting one. Our fuel is supposed to be treated to -30 but I just left the truck stop where all of their pumps are froze up.

I've been kicking one around since I put the piston pump on.

Yea. I never saw advertised blended fuel until I was in South Dakota. They just have additives in it around here. I've heard it's just Power Service in large quantities.

He won't listen toe about putting Kerosene in it. He told me idk what the hell I'm talking about. I'll let him Freeze trying to get that pos Cat running.

With the 727 it should be a decent cruiser.

I've never had an issue with gelling either. It's even been down below -40 and still no gelling

Wow I suddenly really want that ram charger

3.07/727 and 35's aren't too bad, I ran that combo waaay back in 2004 on my pile (before I knew better). That dude from out west that put a sh!t ton of money in his engine and what not that just rolled it had 37's and a 3.07/727...

I've ran 3.54 and 38s with a 5 speed..........and it was decent, but lacking in the gearing for power area. Top fuel economy was at 75mph, in town fuel economy was about 14.

I never got better than 14 mpg with a 727...ever. Soon as that NV got swapped in, hasn't been less than 17. I got 18.6 on the last tank...
