I've only had to get stitches once. On my face. The needle only hurt when it was pushed into the wound, then it just felt weird. Getting them out also felt weird, but oh well

The last couple of weeks, it's been copper-theft.

So far this week, arsonist.

We dealt with the copper theft thing a few years ago. We have yet to have someone set the school on fire though

These days I have all my guys as well as contractors spray-paint ALL exterior HVAC&R lineset copper with International Orange.

That does a couple of things:
- It immediately knocks the dollar value of the scrap from #1 to no better than #2.
- Um . . . . don't even think of scrapping any copper with International Orange paint on it in Wake or surrounding county's, NC. :!:

The more recent involved some really stupid individuals who actually came to the scrap-metal dumpster just outside my office. In the middle of the county maintenance and operations complex! Came back from lunch and caught'em.

So...

Exactly one week ago we had a high temperature of -13* and a wind chill around -40*. Today we hit 49* and I'm hearing people ride by on crotch rockets. If I can still do math, that's a 60+ degree temperature swing in a week's time.

Yeah, we had lows in the single digits a couple of nights last week with the daytime high in between of 24 I think it was.

This past Saturday, we had a high in the 70s, with heavy rain, strong winds and tornado watches.

They're calling for snow come this Wednesday . . . .

What size battery is that? It's not a 31 for sure, they're best is 950 CCA

Not always, some have 1125cca. I've one in my truck now,and one in a tractor. They are however difficult to find, mostly from part store employees not wanting to look (least is my experience). I did find out that bigger could be had "if" one was to swap to threaded stud posts.

I could bother my parts guy for the part# again if someone was interested ;)
