Me too! I start wearing them for 2-3 hours a day, then go up. Sometimes it's 2 half days and then I can wear them full time, 1 set I wore for 1/2 days for a month and still couldn't keep them on.

I just started breaking in these cowboy boots. Wore them for an hour tonight but my feet were hurting before I put them on so that was all I could do.

I ordered some ariat (sp?) Boots week before last, they plain hurt my feet. Monday I bought some Georgia boots 9" wedges (like I've worn for years) and haven't looked back at the others. I payed 171 for the others and 82 forthe Georgia boots, expensive error on my part. I should have never listened to my wife.

I actually just bought a pair of Ariats, non-insulated "composite" toe. Total impulse buy, I hate insulated boots and have the hardest time finding a decent pair of non-insulated slip ons. I used to wear Wolverines but they just got to the point where having to buy 2 pair to last a year didn't add up because they keep getting more expensive.

I had a pair of insulated Georgia's next and they were awesome boots. The most comfortable boots I've ever owned, and the insoles were still intact after almost a year, but they started leaking water where the soles meet the leather. The wolverines fell apart in every other way, but they always stayed waterproof.

These new Ariats aren't quite as comfortable as the Georgia's, but they literally broke in after one day of wearing them. It probably didn't hurt that I wore 2 pair of socks and got drug behind a rzr on a tube for a few hours.

My best pair of boots so far caterpillars I can't remember which model off hand I think they are alaskins or something like that. Muck style boots I seem to go through like water. The actual muck brand I haven't had a pair last two months without falling apart. I bought bog brand this last time and they are lasting but they don't have a heal or treads which isn't fun running the dozer foot clutch or walking on ice.

The Artiat boots I was told are hard to break in because of the materials being thicker and a little better quality then most boots. Supposedly that's why they last so long.

I wear these most of the time: http://www.bootbarn.com/Justin-Men%27s- ... n%20Gaucho

Pretty light and durable. I bet they'd last dang near forever if I didn't wear then in manure and took care of the leather.

If it's wet or cold: http://www.cavenders.com/western/cowboy ... 7AodHmIAVA

They're like wearing concrete blocks, but they're warm, dry, durable, and not that expensive relatively.

All I wear anymore is slip on boots so it limits my options. I had a pair of Justin's that lasted a year but I never treated the leather either.

I have a pair of Dakota work boots. They broke in fast, but fast forward 8 or 9 months and the sole started cracking where I kneel. Put some glue in there and they were fine until like last week when the glue unstuck itself. Other than that they're in pretty good shape considering what they've been through
