That depends on how hard you work. I shoveled a large dump truck load (not kidding) of snow by hand today - way more fatigue than school.

Because at school you are more than likely sitting down hearing about something you don't really care about. That drains me. As opposed to work where I'm on and off of tractors, in and out of bins, in and out of semis, thinking, measuring, welding, and GETTING PAID.

Second thought of the post: Do I have any chance to make 320 hp with stock non-IC injectors, stock pump timing, good fuel pressure, a good transmission, and adequate air supply? Doubling up stock numbers on stock parts is my only power goal

Third thought (ADD is kicking in) : I did the impossible this afternoon. I pulled the neighbor out of the snow with my Dodge. I was shocked it worked. FYI a 2wd F-150 is worse in the snow than a D-model 1st gen.

That's a good point about the not really caring about what's being said. It's hydraulics right now and boy is this stuff ever boring.

On the second note I think the stock non ic sticks could probably do it, but I don't think the stock turbo can support even close to that. I'd say an s300g or that 60/68 would be neat turbos to get. If you're more on a budget he351

Stock non i/c sticks will support 320 easily, very easily.

Stock timing will make it difficult, regardless of the supporting mods.

Stock injectors that have never been out of the head? Maybe I'd pull the pump to the head for a dyno number

I don't want to bump up timing because I don't want to deal with a head gasket because that spirals into o-ringing a 7mm head and getting new injectors.

What a day today. I broke the door handle in the Ford first thing this morning, then I snag a downspout on the house with the plow ripping it off. I finally get to work to prep for snow to find a broken spreader on one truck, dead battery in my work truck nothing wanted to cooperate. Get out to dads and fix the door on the truck. I have to pick up a cab tomorrow hopefully and its snowing like hell. Go to pull the trailer out and its froze to the ground with 3 flat tires. We manage to get my brothers GMC stuck, my dump and fun all finallygot the trailer out. I slid over the hill by the barn and we had a hell of a time getting me out of that mess. 6 inches of old snow and ice, 2" of fresh snow bald tires on one side, and street tread on the other 4 just didn't cut it. I'm ready for a shower and the phone to ring the old man needs help plowing.

Caleb - just depends on how good of shape your stockers are in. My dad's truck has probably 400k on it by now and it idles and purrs as smooth (ok, not quite) mine, his injectors seem to be in excellent shape.

Had sinus surgery today. I can actually breathe through my nose now. Still in a bit of pain from getting my teeth pulled two days ago, but I got more Vicodin so I'm happy happy happy

Mine may have been rebuilt not that many miles ago. The PO said he has a lot of work done at 200-220k. He doesn't remember what though. Externally they look quite fresh. I guess there's only one way to find out what they'll do. There's a dyno day sometime in March.

You have capabilities of big air so that won't be an issue if you get it setup.

Yep, hence adequate air supply ;) I have a parts list for that build lined out. I have to get that trans done first though. And stay on top of school. And still make money. And...and...and...
