I think the Titan will look better, but they are still 1/2 tons so they're like a family hauler with some extra towing power. I want to test drive one of them just to see how the cummins does in it

Na....Nissan will find a way to screw it up. Pos vehicles,I hate working on any Nissan.

All I know.... expect a $50k truck get low 20 for fuel economy, when the world has the technology to get 35 out of it.

Well the gas tundras won't touch 20mpgs,least those that I work on won't. Hell very few 1/2 tons will,best I've ever got out of any one I've owned was 19.

And how could anyone ever guess anything less than a bunch of commiefornia/fed force emissions on any new vehicle, diesel or gass.......useless statement

As with any other vehicle there will be modifications to be made,there always it
Just like any other vehicle made these days,it will be detuned for the sake of drivetrain durability maybe emissions reasons.

Yup, Dodge really Focked Up not signing that contract with Cummins after they did all that R&D for them.

What I read in TDR or someplace was Cummins was building a 3.0 (IIRC) V-6, and a 5.0 V-8 to possibly be used in Dodge trucks, the 5.0 in the 1/2 tons and the 3.0 in smaller stuff, Dakotas, Durangos, etc. When the economy went in the toilet Dodge pulled out because they didn't want the expense of the diesel at that time.

On another note, got a 1125 CCA Group 31 battery yesterday with standard lead post for the rig. It's good to know they're still out there

Not bad, I paid $145 for mine with a 2 year free replacement.
Granted, I wasn't looking to install dual batteries either.

That's about par, the battery in the 82 cost me 130 from O'Reilly.
