Last year we had 5 deuces and a 5ton tractor with empty fuel tanker racing. :D

That sounds horrifying. And kickazz!

Ran the new hay accumulator today. Dang it Philip, you were right! The No-Touch program is the way to go. I did about 525 bales in 3 hours and didn't even break a sweat. I ran as fast as I could and still stay on the seat of the old 4320.

Overall not a bad event. Crowd was down this time around, but being the opening night, and a holiday weekend, to be expected.
Unfortunately, a major fuel leak sidelined then 5 ton, he made the morning parade, but we weren't able to fix in time for the speedway, had 2 deuces, and alot of kids had a blast

Its the only way to go. Hand throwing small squares might build strong arms. But it kills your back. You only have one of them. Go easy on it. Your still young.

I was really surprised about the weight too. I was sure it was over 8000 pounds, but I ran it over a commercial scale that should be accurate

Bite the bullet, spend once, Scheid Diesel.

Yeah so you can have your nozzles split once a year.

Yeah the same thing happened to my brother Soggy. Identical injectors, identical split. He posted a thread about it on DTR. His only lasted six months.

I'm curious as to there being something we're doing that is/may contribute to the spitting. :?:

A while ago, someone (I forget who) mentioned heat sync.... with the 6 hole VCO injectors being the longest injector nozzles that we run... accompanied with the thin washers... MAY be overheating the very tip of the nozzle. I would/could be persuaded to believe that.

Other than that, the 6 hole VCO has a lot of downfalls in its design... Sutter (JQ's old injectors) got less than 10k out of a set of Shceid 6x16 injectors... When he sent them to me to have them fixed... they were COMPLETELY shot. It was and still is the only set of injectors that my hone guy couldn't do anything with.

So today, I decided to take a stock high pressure lift pump spring... I then shortened it to an afc spring length, and then I opened it up to the same diameter. I then proceeded to use it for an afc spring. I could still benefit from a stronger spring, I honestly (without doing the math) never thought that it would come close to compressing.

Ok, after some looking and searching..... I have an even stiffer afc spring on the way.

New spring can withstand over 40 psi of boost before it is fully collapsed... I'll keep everyone updated, for those who are wanting a super super strong spring.

Could be, but either way I wouldn't use them on a VE. At least not in that size. Did Scheid have any explanation when you talked to them?

RC, weren't those 6x.016s from New Era? I remember when Jason got them and could have sworn that was where they came from. It wasn't til later that he started getting the Schied friends and family discount.
